FAQs

What is 'general admission'?

With 'general admission' you can join us for play, plus an interactive Wizard story. Everyone coming along will need there own 'general admission' ticket to gain entry

 

What is included in your play areas?

Our play areas include: inside soft play, outside play area, free play mini arcade and small toddler zone. 

 

Can you tell me more about the Wizard storytelling?

We would love to!

Our interactive Wizard story is approximately 20 minutes long and is a scripted Wizard adventure story in which a roll of the dice guide the story. The audience will be taken on a guided imaginative adventure and encouraged to join in the action.

The session will take place in our Wizards hut and so unfortuately is not accessible to prams or wheelchairs. Please remove children from prams and leave prams/psuhchairs outside the hut while you all go in and enjoy the story. Please contact us before booking, if you wish to visit with a child with accessible needs.

 

GOLF FAQs

Is the time I book my tee off time?

Yes, the time you book with your golf tickets is the time you should present yourself to the golfing counter to get ready to play golf.

 

Who needs a Wizard Golf ticket?

Everyone entering the mini golf will need a golf ticket.

Please ensure there is one adult over 21 playing Wizard Golf, for every 3 children under 18. 

 

Can I spectate and not play golf?

Those without a Wizard Golf ticket can watch the three outside holes from the decking, but are not permitted to enter the mini golf course.

 

How long is the course and how long does it take?

The course is 9 holes long and takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.

 

How many people can play mini golf in my group?

A maximum of four players per group can be booked per timeslot. If you have more than four players wanting to play together, please book consecutive timeslots and divide move round the course in groups of up to four people. 

 

Can I take a pushchair in?

Unfortunately, due to the obstables on and around the holes, pushchairs are not permitted on the course. Pushchairs can be left at the golf counter while you are playing golf. Please come and collect it once you have finished your round. 

 

Is the course inside or outside?

Our course has now spread outside, so the course is both inside and out. There is a roof over the outside holes but we recommened bringing clothes appropriate for the temperature.  

 

SKATE FAQs

Is the time I book my skate time?

Yes, the time you book with with your skate tickets is the time you can start skating. Please come to the skating counter when you are ready to collect your skates and begin.

 

Who needs a Roller Skating ticket?

Everyone entering the roller skating rink. Children are permitted to skate on their own, but adults can not walk around with them, so for younger children we recommend that adults skate with them. 

 

How long can I skate for?

Each skating session is 45 minutes long. Please return your skates at the end of your session.

 

Is skate hire included?

Yes, we hold skates from a children's size 6 up to an adults size 12.

 

Can I bring my own skates?

Yes, you may bring your own skates. Please note, that we do not allow inline skates (blades). 

 

WIZARD SWORDSMANSHIP FAQs

What does this activity include?

This is an actor led interactive activity that last approximately 20 minutes. All apprentices (children and adults) will choose their training sword (everyone will be provided with a wooden sword). The group of apprenticies will be lead out into the woods by the Master Wizard where you will all be taken through your swordmanship drills. 

 

My child wants to take part, do I also need to participate?

Things are always more fun when we do them together!

Due to the location of this activity, at least one adult must participate for every 3 children. So please book a ticket for any children and adults who are joining in.

 

KARTING FAQs

Who can participate in drift karting?

Only children aged 6-12 years old can participate in karting. Adults are able to spectate while their child has their karting session. 

 

How many children can kart at once?

Only up to four children can participate in each karting session. If you have more than four children wanting to participate, please book mulitple karting sessions.
