WanderWoods is committed to protecting your privacy and security. How and why we use your personal information is set out in this policy so you are informed and in control of your data.

WanderWoods will ask customers to “opt-in” for any marketing communications to comply with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.

We will never sell or share your personal data.

Your personal data (i.e. any information which identifies you, or which can be identified as relating to you personally) will be collected and used by WanderWoods. We hold personal data you provide to enable us to fulfil your booking. This includes information you give when booking tickets such as name, date of birth, email, address, telephone etc. This information is collected and stored via our Ticketing provider DigiTickets who’s Privacy Policy can be viewed at the bottom of this page.

We may collect information from social media where you have given us permission to do so, or if you post publicly on one of our social media pages.

We do not store any customer financial information (payment information such as credit/debit card or direct debit details). All credit or debit card financial data will use the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol to encrypt the data between your browser and our payment processing provider’s servers. We use your personal Information for the purpose of fulfilling your booking and communicating with customers to promote WanderWoods. This includes keeping you up to date with our news, updates, offers and events.

WanderWoods and our ticketing and payment processing providers employ a variety of physical and technical measures to keep your data safe and to prevent unauthorised access to, or use or disclosure of your personal information. Of course, we cannot guarantee the security of your home computer or the internet, and any online communications (e.g. information provided by email or our website) are at the user’s own risk.

Our site has CCTV and you may be recorded when you visit. CCTV is there to help provide security and to protect both you and WanderWoods. CCTV will only be viewed when necessary (e.g. to detect or prevent crime) and footage is only stored temporarily. Unless it is flagged for review CCTV will not be stored for longer than 30 days. 

WanderWoods is based in the UK. We will only use and store information for so long as it is required for the purposes it was collected for. How long information will be stored for depends on the information in question and what it is being used for. For example, if you ask us not to send you marketing emails, we will stop storing your emails for marketing purposes (though we’ll keep a record of your preference not to be emailed). We continually review what information we hold and delete what is no longer required. We never store payment card information.

Information collected and its use

The information we collect via the Website may include:

  1. Any personal details you knowingly provide us with through forms and our email, such as name, address, telephone number etc.

  5. Information about your device such as your web browser, screen resolution and operating system. This information is used to ensure we continue to support the different devices used by our customers.
  6. Data recorded by the Website which allows us to recognise you and your preferred settings, this saves you from re-entering information on return visits to the site. We do not store any credit card details.
